Trading Post lvl 3 (+1 lvl on distant colonies)
University lvl3
Shipyard lvl3 (+4 lvls on colonies)
Research lvl6 - lvl7 in queue
Resource lvl6
Bunker lvl3
Comms lvl3 (+1 lvl on distant colonies)
Barracks lvl1 (+5 lvls on colonies)
Dock lvl1 (+3 lvls on colonies)


Can Make:

Best Chassis: Frigate
Best Engines: DX2, GMT3
Best Weapons: Scorp, Medium Laser
Best Armour: Standard
Best Cargo Hold: Large (120k capacity)
Colony Modules
Mining Laser
Salvage Tool


Researchers:

30% through researching Ion weapons

Still happy to accept suggestions on what buildings/research to develop next to best Glorify the Sublime Anar...

...and happy to build colony mods, or any other component I can if you supply the material and you're not too far away...
Been working well with Hal on this as he's less than 2 hrs from my Ghetto with Sweeps Smile

Im about 4 hours away from sorsh/caes (and my new colony) (with my intergalactic Dx2 (x2) trade ship) 8 hours with 1 dx2 engine
same again in other direction to tom
4 hours from shir (1 dx2 engine) made her a colony pod today
15mins from kale

also willing to accept help, i just researching and holding my own atm not being agressive towards others yet building myself up b4 i think about attacking anyone

I'll update with my stuff tomorrow, but in the meantime I think it would be better to speak in terms of how many pc someone is away from you... after all, how many hours it takes to travel heavily depends on the type of engine you stick on your ship Smile.

Can build components when requested, may require payment for the resources though Wink. I've been helping Tjornir get started (even though he's about 5 hours away with a DX-2... somewhere around the 70+ PC, but with wormholes I once made the trip in less than an hour).

Hmmm Kal - is there anything to be gained by developing the colony Command Centres and trade posts ?

The trade post at level 2 lets you use the export tab on each planet individually Smile. Level 3 lets you set your own import/export prices, so I usually upgrade those a bit to not have to fly stuff to my main planet before selling.

Command Center I'm not 100% sure if it is any good to upgrade, but several people I spoke to claim that other buildings on the planet benefit from it. Slightly shorter production times, slightly higher output of goods, that sort of thing. Not sure if it's true, but the first few levels they're fairly cheap anyway Smile.

Went for it and the Command Centres now have a Planets tab which provides a super overview of all yr colonies - buildings, resources etc - so well worth the investment imho.

63-68% with ion cannons so about another 3-4 days I think
