Yeh first in last out. Still moaning like a trooper.

Roll on star wars - a lot of grumbling to do before then though

Always nice to hear from old faces though (does that make any sense at all)

theres still a few of the old nusilme lot playing although in different kins. only person i see actually still in nusilme is addredoc and i think hes pretty much in there solo.

the rest have buggered off for one reason or another. if you are levelling a char from 0 its still well worth coming back as you will have a shit load to do to get a decent 65 toon. if not then theres not so much point at the minute as the end game is pretty dull and grind orientated. there is still plenty of action in the lower levels though from what i have seen and levelling looks pretty much as it always was up until moria/mirkwood.

oh and the moors has shown recent improvements as well if you are into that kind of thing. the creeps have been reproducing and eating their spinach.

whoa! A lot of shit changed eh? after i left lotro i played AoC and then went deep into the xbox 360 and ps3.. had a blast! then recently i played Aion which turned to be just another grind game.

I just downloaded Champions online to check it out. Was interested in Star Trek online but friends say its shit atm. After playing so many MMO's the feeling of lotro is just good... hehe. Might consider coming back though!

Yep, only a year to go now! Laughing

I'll probably re-sub for a month when Vol III is released, just to get the book done and maybe try out the new God-Mode in Vol I, can't see me staying on beyond that though.

Basically, unless LIs get sorted out, I'll just be an occasional visitor to Lotro until such time as SW:TOR or JGE are released.

Remove all the legendary items from the game, and the game will be fun again...

Should have stuck with the SoA style. I'm guessing most people would agree that the game was way more fun pre moria.

I'm not against the legendary items, or even the grind, per se. What I do object to is having to bin my LI every couple of months just to keep my DPS meaningful.

All they really have to do is make the max DPS of LIs unlocked so they increase with character level cap, along with making additions/improvements available when level cap increases happen (preferably through non-rep-gated crafted items - though that is really dream-world thinking!)

In other words, give us the legendary weapon they told us about in the first place.

Radiance-gating is never going to be taken out of the game. Sword-Halls has made it quite clear that the only reason for rad-gating is so that the devs can design the raids around the cookie-cutter builds that rad gear produces.
